If you love antiquity and everything that goes with it, then Algeria is the right country for you. With a rich history and numerous references of this time, Algeria offers many sights to visit along with beautiful mountainous nature. We have traveled through Algeria ourselves and we know which places are worth visiting and how to ensure maximum safety and comfort. We prepare individually tailored tours with English speaking guide and high end services. However, should you insist on a guide with different language skills let us know and we will do our best to deliver. Itinerary

1^st day:	Departure from Prague for Algiers (capital city), transfer to hotel and overnight
2^nd day:	Breakfast followed by a transfer to two different historical sites. One being the Kbor Roumia where ancient Christian tombs lie and the second being mausoleum of the great Mauritanian ruler Juby. Afterwards we shall walk through two former Mauritanian cities - namely Caesarei and Tipaza. The latter has a lovely location below the mountain range and close to the Medditereanen sea. History of both cities goes long back to the Fenitians, Romans and the Queen Cleopatra. Dinner, transfer back to hotel (70 km) and overnight.
3^rd day:	Breakfast followed by a transfer through the Kabylie with its beautiful scenery all the way to Tizi Ouzou which is the center of the local Berber community. Here we will explore the local Berber villages, ahve dinner and head back to Tizi Ouzou for overnight.
4^th day:	Breakfast and yet another tranfer through the Kabylie to the picturesque seaside city of Beija. On our way there we will make a quick stop in Tigzirt Sur Mer - a place known for the archeology. The day will end with dinner and overnight in hotel.
5^th day:	Breakfast and departure for Jamila also known as Cuicul among the Berber tribes. It is located 900 meters above sea level in a mountain area where traces of Roman and African infrastructure skills can be still seen. Here you will find the world famous Leptis Magna and Sabratha - cities designed to perfection in their respective times. Thanks to emperor Nervus the cities had spas, beautiful arches, squares, homes decorated with mosaics, lively markets, forums, temples, theaters and much more. Jamila (a UNESCO site) is among the best experiences in Algeria. We will then visit the archeological museum in Sétif - an elegant and laid back city which was later in the history colonised by the French. Diner and overnight in the Batina city.
6^th day:	Breakfast and early morning departure for the Roman ruins in Timgad (Colonia Marciana Traiana Thamugadi, 140 km) - a city which was established by the Roman emperor Trajan 1 AD for army veterans and which also served as a Roman stronghold on the crossroads between the Sahara and Aures mountain range. These mountains are inhabited by local tribes. These ruins are probably the most important archeological site in all of Northern Africa as it displays the mastery of Roman urbanism. Subsequently we shall move to the city of Constantine (known as Cirta in the Roman days) which even late French artist found so picturesque to capture. The city is bordered with a steep fall and the Rhumel river across which lead massive bridges. In the end there will be an optional Museum inspection where you can learn about the neolothic age, the Fenitians, Romans and the ceaser Constantine who allowed the city to flourish. Walk through the old medina, dinner and overnight at hotel.
7^th day:	Breakfast and domestic flight back to Algiers where we will enjoy a full-day tour. The city has a unique location between the city and the mountains. It is home to an etnographic museum, the National Museam, a Kasbah with several mosques and old palaces in Moorish style. There is also a modern colonial district with broad boulevards, beautiful homes, parks, historical buildings and palaces. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
8^th day:	breakfast, forenoon free time, transfer to the airport and departure for Prague. Expected arrival at 6:40 PM.
