Bab Ourika is a place of healthy lifestyle and a great starting point for an active holiday. The magnificent nature of the surrounding area, stunning views, the friendliness of the locals, excellent Moroccan cuisine and an ecological approach to tourism will surely please everyone who cares about the benefits of responsible and eco friendly tourism.

The Kasbah has 26 rooms. All are individually decorated and have stunning views of the Atlas, National Park and the Ourika Valley. Fifteen of the rooms are in the main Kasbah building while 12 rooms are located in the garden including 2 Pool Suites and a Villa Retreat.

Built in traditional Berber technique the Ourba Kazba is a sound-absorbing and naturally regulating building's indoor temperature. It is located in the Ourika Valley at the foot of the High Atlas, just a 35-minute drive from bustling Marrakech. Kazbu is surrounded by a beautiful garden with orange / lemon / olive trees, bougainvillea flowers, rosemary, pepper tree, grapevine and pomegranate and much more. There is also a garden where the chefs pick up their vegetables, herbs and fruits. Other ingredients are supplied by the surrounding villages so that the chef can prepare unique dishes according to traditional and seasonal Berber recipes. While lunch is served in the garden with a 360-degree panoramic view, dinners are served in an intimate atmosphere. All guests are greeted with tea and in the afternoon they enjoy a little sweet attention by the pool. If clients decide to go on a trek, they will be equipped with a basket with lunch or packed with an energy-rich snack. Kazba is an ecological project, it produces its own electricity, compost, used water is recycled in the garden, the rooms have only fans and no air conditioning. It is especially suitable for active guests who can try one of the six surrounding trekking routes around the Salt National Park. They can explore the local valley, enjoy Setti Fatma waterfalls or visit the traditional Monday market. Rafting, mountain biking, canoeing and ski slopes in the best Moroccan winter resort (40 min. Drive from the Kasbah) await the adventurous nature, as well as a hot air balloon flight. Rooms are simply furnished and all have a terrace. In the rooms of higher category there are fireplaces for colder days. Here technical achievements of our civilization are almost forgotten, there is no television or telephone in the rooms, Wi-Fi connection is slow data consumption limited. But who cares? There is plenty of beautiful nature and things to do around.
