There are few hotels that have taken a bold step and reserved their space for adults only. Al Husn is one of them, the intimate atmosphere for the discerning is evident in the rooms, on a special beach hidden behind a cliff, in restaurants and service, which will convince the client that he spent a holiday in a real oriental palace.
Al Husn is part of an Arab-style hotel town that grew in 2006 amidst a dramatic rocky landscape of 124 acres just outside Muscat. Today it has three hotels with a total of 680 rooms, 19 restaurants, a spa, a library and three private beaches. Al Husn is the most luxurious of them, unlike neighboring Al Wah and Al Bandar, it can only accommodate people over the age of 16 and the same age group has access to a 100-meter private beach. Other facilities can be used by guests without restrictions, and buffet half-board can be booked at Al Waha or Al Bandar. For Al Husn is a typical style of Arabic palace with the use of Islamic decorative art. The hotel is connected to the capital by a shuttle service.

Stay in Al Husn can be booked with breakfast, which can be drawn in any of the three main restaurants of the complex, or with half board, which can be drawn in buffet at restaurants in neighboring hotels Samba or Al Tanoor, or in all a la carte restaurants for 16 OMR credit per person. The queen of the a la carte restaurant in Al Husn is the Moroccan Sheherazad with live music or the Sultanah restaurant with sea view, which represents the best of Omani cuisine. In both of these restaurants, dinners are served and there is a choice from the menu. But it is also possible to visit the Italian (with live entertainment), Arabic or Mexican restaurant in the Al Bandar hotel, Latin American in the Al Waha hotel or taste seafood in the beachfront restaurant.
Guests can enjoy afternoon tea and a pre-dinner snack drink during their stay. Upon arrival, all guests will receive a fruit plate, which in the case of the suite is supplemented daily not only with fruit, but also with Omani sweets. The minibar in the room is free and is also refilled once a day, it does not only include liqueurs. At the beach, guests receive a chilled water box and fruit snacks during the day, and water is available in the room, by the pool and on the beach.
