The resort is named after the star Maia, the brightest of all the constellations of the Seven Sisters that led the navigator Vasco de Gama to discover the Seychelles. At first glance, Maia attracts with its elevated position, which allowed the installation of thirty villas in the field so that all guests get a panoramic view of the ocean. Each villa offers generous space, consists of two pavilions, a bedroom and a relaxing terrace with its own pool.

You will definitely be thrilled by the all-inclusive program, which no resort in the Seychelles has ever offered. According to Maia, however, it offers much more than rich courses with drinks during the day, the chef is able to adapt to the individual wishes of each of the guests. The courses can be served not only in the main restaurant, but also in the villa or on the beach. The culinary heaven is brought to perfection by a sommelier with a selection of first-class wines. The all-inclusive includes regular yoga, Qi Gong, diving, fishing, snorkelling and motorized sports classes. Throughout their stay, guests have a personal butler available, who will arrange any trip around Mahé to measure (for a surcharge), supervise the children, ev. takes them to a kids' club. The butler will also offer a personal escort to the local market or bring all the exotic plants that grow in the 12-acre hotel garden. In it, you can pick out a mango from a tree, smell it with cinnamon or the smell of eucalyptus wood.

In addition, all those staying at the Signature Villa can arrange a private barbecue in the villa, book an hour-long manicure or pedicure, a private yoga class and take advantage of early or late check-in or check-out. Surcharges are charged only for transport or helicopter trips, yacht rental, private yoga classes in the basic room type, surfing, climbing or private dives. The only restriction that could disrupt activities on the beach below the hotel is bad weather. At such a moment, however, the hotel spa, which is located in the middle of the jungle and will offer relaxation not only to adults but also to children, will definitely come in handy, while a massage can be performed by up to two therapists on one person. Another option is to stay by your own pool with panoramic views and a fully loaded bar, while the valet prepares a flower bath in the meantime. Wi-fi is unlimited, but you may want to forget about it at this resort.

Maia is so far the only 5 * resort in the Seychelles to offer an all-inclusive program. This includes not only the unlimited consumption of meals during the day, including soft and branded alcoholic beverages, but also the consumption of a minibar or a bar in the villa, a range of activities and motorized water sports.

The main courses are served in the main restaurant and drinks, for example in the pool bar, but on request it is possible to serve food in the privacy of the villa or on the beach, chefs can also tell their individual wishes or ask for food adjustments due to health restrictions. The hotel’s cuisine is based on Asian, Mediterranean and Creole dishes. The hotel’s sommelier will recommend the best wines.
