About the package

A sophisticated plan wants to excel in the flood of new resorts that have opened in the Maldives in recent years. Finolhu Resort, which opened in 2016 in the lagoon of Baa Atoll, has bet on retro style and has paid off, and clients are thrilled. It has become a haven for lovers of good wine and cocktails, active entertainment and style.

Just a 20 minute flight from the capital and another 25 minutes by boat and you will see a lagoon with a U-shaped resort, one side of which consists of water villas and villas by the lagoon, while the opposite promontory is an elongated one-kilometer sandy shoal that invites you to walk and sit in a fish restaurant over a plate of fresh shrimps.

However, the center of events is the middle part, its quieter part consists of spas and beauty lounges arranged in ten pastel-colored cottages, which pay tribute to celebrities of the 60s and 70s, traditional barbershops and hairdressers. You will also not find a perfect gym and other sports facilities, which encourage group or private yoga lessons, meditation, martial arts such as kickboxing or caper. The local tennis courts were tested directly by Zverev himself. The dose of protein can be continuously replenished in the milk bar in the immediate vicinity. In the busier part of the resort, you will come across a boutique with Greek sandals and wides or a photo studio, which will offer you up to an hour of professional photography as a souvenir in style. This part of the resort also houses a children's club, a main pool and unusual restaurants that will take you around the world through Italian, Arabic or Chinese cuisine. The biggest surprise, however, is the local art scene, which excites with artistic performances or fire dances. If a mermaid emerges before the evening disco, the only thing to say is that you are in one of the 26 richest Maldivian atolls, which is under UNESCO protection.

If you want to explore its waters more closely, try to set off from the dock, for example, towards the nearby sister luxury resort Amila, you will be accompanied by mantas or sharks.

Accommodation in the resort can be booked with half board or full board, including a drink package for adults, children under 18 pay for soft drinks. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the main restaurant Baa Baa, half board there and also in the romantic restaurant Kanusan directly above the sea. Full board can be enjoyed at the Baa Baa, Kanusan or Fish and Crab Shack on the sandy shoal. If the guest wishes to draw lunch or dinner elsewhere than stated, then it is possible to order a maximum of 1 course free of charge, for other courses a 50% discount is provided. Lunches are always served in two courses, dinner in three. The beverage package includes unlimited consumption of cocktails, wine, selected types of hard alcohol and soft drinks, the package does not apply to the consumption of a minibar in the room.
