Sofitel The Palm has been a novelty in the category of luxury beach hotels in Dubai on Palm Island since mid-2013 and its attractiveness is enhanced by the nearby Aquaventura water park and a family-friendly atmosphere. The whole resort evokes the atmosphere of tropical Polynesia, and therefore the public areas are immersed in rich greenery with numerous water features. The hotel has tennis courts, a children’s club for children under 12 years of age free of charge, and a 2,500 m2 spa area. Children will love the system of indoor and outdoor heated pools with slides at a very nice 500 meter long private beach. The hotel runs a free shuttle service to Dubai Mall with an attractive giant aquarium and entrance to the world's tallest building the Burj Khalifa. The hotel’s shuttle also provides a free shuttle to the nearby Atlantis Water Park or Dubai Parks.
