Our team

In Palmyra Tour we value personal approach and that's why we would like to introduce ourselves. Palmyra Tour is a 100% family run travel agency with tradition dating back to 1991. Our main focus is on bespoke luxury traveling to exotic destinations of the Middle-East & North Africa, Indian ocean, Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. The reason behind selection of such unusual destinations lies in origin of our family as you can see in the profile of each team member. This is also the right place to mention and thank all the other people who have contributed to our success - namely our longterm partners, suppliers, local representatives and many other.

I am Hassan or "Mr. Director" as they sometimes call me. I founded Palmyra Tour with my beloved wife with 28 years ago when we realized we could use my Arabic roots and knowledge of the region in favor of Czech travelers. As a Syrian who has been living in the Czech Republic for several decades and where I graduated at the prestigious Charles University I was the first person to allow Czech travelers to exlore the magic of the Middle-East and North Africa. As a result of this our company is capable of delivering truly unique service and knowledge to our clients with whom we build longterm relationship built on mutual trust. Such approach has paid off and I am extremely grateful to be able to keep opening the imaginary gates of the Orient to travelers who seek honest services of the highest standard.

I am the oldest and in fact the only son of my parents Hassan and Helena. It’s these unique multicutural roots that have been helping me pursue the footsteps of my parents in our family company. Despite my relatively young age I have gained plenty of experience in entrepreneurship from other business around the world in order to boost our company growth through innovation and help differentiate it from our competitors. Generally speaking I love new challenges and I constantly seek new ways to do things as I always see space for improvement. In my spare time I crave endurance sports, notably ultra-trail running, tennis and other physical activities.

My name is Czech, my habits are moravian and my roots are European. Although I am a born Czech, my genes can be tracked down to different countries just like in the case of my son. Perhaps that's why I am so passionate about exploring new places and cultures. My main responsibility in the team is development of new services and destinations in the portfolio. Everything I do for our family company fills me up with a feeling of purpose - something that has been absolutely necessary ever since we founded Palmyra Tour. I suppose this is also one of the main reasons why we have always been able to stay close to our clients and a few steps ahead of our competitors. Good proportion of my time is dedicated to exploration of and learning about our destinations as well as creation of related articles so that we can present the most up to date information about the Middle-East and elsewhere.
