Opened in October 2013 this stylish, simple and tranquil hotel is located just across from the sister hotel Al Bidda, a range of restaurants, galleries and a riverside park. All of this can be observed from the beautiful terrace of your room. Al Jomrok is the perfect choice for those who would also like to enjoy the atmosphere of a Qatari boutigue but are limited by budget. It is also a good choice if you combine a trip to other Gulf countries according to your own itinerary.
This originally historic hotel was restored in the spirit of the surrounding architecture and Qatar's cultural heritage which is reflected primarily in the decoration of the walls and wooden floors. The rustic style is perfectly in line with modern features and technological equipment. The advantage of the hotel is a beautiful terrace with great views and a café as well as a reasonable price. The hotel does not have its own restaurant wherefore guests must head to the sister hotel Al Bidda for breakfast. During their stay, they can also use the hospitality of other boutique hotels of the same network - namely the Al Mirqab, Al Yomrok, Al Jasra, Arumaila, Musheirib or Al Najada. All of them are close and can be reached with a golf cart.

It's been only a few hours since our arrival from Qatar and the UAE. I would like to thank you on behalf of our family for the exquisite level of service. Everything was perfectly organised and prepared. We didn't encounter a single issue. The Banana Island Resort was flawless and its services were on really high level - I would give it 6 stars if I could. We felt really good there and now we regret that we didn't prolong our staythere. The resort was beautiful and so kid friendly! Thank you so much for the resort recommendation and organisation of our vacation!! To be absolutely honest there was only one slight disapointment and that was our hotel in Ajman (UAE). Comparing it to the Banana Island we felt the employees' approach was not that good but that's not your fault. It iritated us when they would try to make up ou beds at 7 o'clock in the morning etc. For that reason we wouldn't stay there again. Last but not least my wife was very touched by the flowers and welcome message you prepared upon our arrival to Dubai. Overall the vacation was great and despite the negatives in Fairmont Hotel we are taking away only memories.
In future we will be glad to use your services again.

The small hotel is located next to Al Bidda, and is a 30-minute drive from the airport. There are many restaurants, shops, galleries and parks around the hotel.

The basic room type can accommodate two adults and one child under 11 years without extra bed, eventualy even baby up to 3 years with baby cot free of charge. Any extra bed for a child is charged and subject to availability by hotel. A small bottle of mineral water is replaced each day and a welcome snack is available upon arrival.

Upon entrance to one of the 13 hotel rooms you will be greeted with a small treat in the form of chocolate, dates, baklava, fruit, coffee or juice. A small bottle of water is replaced on daily basis. The hotel does not serve alcohol. Breakfast is served buffet style at the neighboring Al Bidda at The Mezzanine Restaurant, half-board or full-board at Al Terrace, La Piazza or Argan, which are part of the Souk Waqif hotel collection.
