Muscat Hills Resort builds on the original services of the Omani Diving Center, which has been located in this bay below Muscat for many years. The influx of investment in tourism has brought fresh wind to this beach, which is huddled between dramatic coastal mountains. The location is ideal. The peace and the whole area of the bay, just for an undisturbed holiday, inspired the designer to choose simple white as the dominant color, which is so typical of Oman, but at the same time it brought airiness and cheerful Mediterranean mood to the space together with minimalism. It was also transferred to the kitchen, swimming pools for adults and children. The original cottages have only been slightly modified, but the resulting impression is much more complete and certainly attractive to all who are looking for Oman in a rustic form. Spend the day lounging on the sandy beach, dolphin rides, scuba diving at a nearby wreck, snorkeling or water skiing. Experienced divers will teach even beginners everything they need thanks to perfect equipment and rich experience. The evenings invite you to visit the old Muttrah souk, which smells like the presence of the Orient, which can later in the evening be transformed into a quiet sitting with a hookah in a beach bar. Due to the absence of telephones and televisions, the resort provides electronic detox and encourages trips, which can be completed from the resort.

Muscat Hills Resort is hidden in one of the many bays that line the rugged Omani coast. From Muscat Airport, the journey takes 40 minutes, and you can explore the entire capital on the way. If you opt for in-depth exploration, then the original old town is only a 20-minute drive away from the beach resort.

In the past, Barasti Hut in the Gulf used to be the residence of local fishermen, which served as inspiration for the cottages in which Muscat Hills provides accommodation. They provide standard comforts, including a comfortable bed with mosquito nets, a living area and an open-plan bathroom with shower. Each of the 35 air-conditioned cottages has its own furnished terrace with direct access to the beach and free wi-fi connection. Water is added to the room continuously. The cottage can accommodate a maximum of three adults (3rd person on a mattress) or two adults and one child under 9.99 years. The resort provides a cot for children up to 5.99 years old. In the middle season the hotel requires min. stay for 4 nights, in high 6 nights.

The cuisine at Muscat Hills is dominated by gentlemen from Spain and Oman, so breakfast is a combination of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine. Although half board cannot be ordered in advance, the evening menu offers Spanish paella or fresh seafood. Along with a cocktail and a traditional hookah, you can spend a quiet and pleasant evening with music in the beach bar.
