If you would like to visit the Emirates for diving or snorkeling, then the best conditions are provided by the east coast of the Gulf of Oman, or you can visit the virgin Omani enclave of Musandam with many fjords. There is enough space for children and pets who are both allowed here. Handicapped travelers were also taken into consideration. They can enjoy stays in large barrier-free rooms and adjusted public areas including the main restaurant Nama and bars.
In addition to traditional rooms, the InterContinental Hotel, like many other luxury hotel chains, offers club accommodation, which includes private check-in and check-out, ironing of two pieces of clothing during the stay, access to the 25 x 5-meter club pool for adults, private beach access. There you may redeem special lounge services including breakfast by the pool, afternoon tea with snacks or a cocktail before dinner. Other benefits include a library, billiards room, free local calls and a 2-hour conference room. Children have access to this part of the hotel only when accompanied by adults aged 21 or older.
In addition to diving, the hotel organizes yoga classes, has tennis courts including equipment, a football pitch, a gym, a kids' club with a small summer cinema, the L´Occitane spa and a small shop. The hotel provides transportation to Fujairah and Dubai’s largest shopping mall. If all these activities are boring for you, we recommend trying the 470 meter ferrata and zipline in nearby Jebel Jais.
